Foot Anatomy

The Leg Bone is Connected to the foot bone……….

Anatomy, its a complicated subject, the foot for example is made up of 26 bones, 33 joints,107 ligaments, 19 muscles and numerous tendons. Complex interactions between all these parts and the structures further up the body (legs, hips, knees) allow the body to function  (stand, walk and run) efficiently and ideally without any pain.

Given the complex nature of the human body and the many structure comprising the foot its not surprising that approximately 90% of us suffer from trouble with our feet before the age of 30 and that many musculoskeletal pains in the foot, legs and even the back can actually caused by the foot not functioning correctly.
