What is Podiatry?
Podiatry is the management of disease and disorders of the lower limbs and the key role of the podiatrist is maintaining a patient’s mobility and independent. Podiatrists treat a complex range of conditions using a variety of techniques to manage painful foot conditions and often have the ability to provide immediate pain relief.

What is the difference between a Chiropodist and a Podiatrist?

The terms chiropodist and podiatrist are interchangeable. Many HPC / State registered Chiropodists now use the title podiatrist, which is the internationally recognised name for foot specialists.

What qualifications are held by our Podiatrist?
Our principal podiatrist graduated from the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff (UWIC) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Podiatric Medicine in June 2003.
